RAZORBACK BLADES
Since Simmons first combined the cutting action of our V-Tooth blade with the slicing action of our Scallop blade, the Razorback blade has become a fast favorite of the foam fabrication industry. The Razorback produces less dust than more aggressive blades while still providing the penetration needed to cut through medium-density foams.
If you like this edge type but need CNC blades, then you're in luck. Our Razorback edge type is available in CNC form for all your contour-cutting needs. You can learn more about Simmons' CNC blades here.
Recommended cutting applications for Razorback blades:
- Medium-density foam
- High-density foam
Consistently delivering high-quality blades has been key to Simmons’ success throughout the years. As part of our reliable welds guarantee, if a Simmons blade breaks at the weld, just let us know and we’ll replace that blade for you.
We stand behind our workmanship, and even when we’re not at fault for blade issues, we frequently invest in analyzing the cause of the blade’s failure in order to educate our customers and help them correct the source of the issue in their facility.
