LAMES FLEXBACK
Manufactured from high carbon steel with hardened tooth tips, the Flexback blade is one of the most versatile bandsaw blades in Simmons’ catalog. Compared to the Hardback blade, the Flexback blade’s more flexible backing increases its fatigue resistance while still providing consistently even cuts. It’s ideal for straight or radius cuts in a variety of cutting applications, including medium-density foam, high-density foam, wood, metal, and more.
Recommended cutting applications for Flexback blades:
- Medium-density foam
- High-density foam
- Honeycomb composites
- Non-ferrous metals
- Mild steel
- Wood products, including: doors, furniture, cabinetry, pallets, crates, packaging, and more.
Consistently delivering high-quality blades has been key to Simmons’ success throughout the years. As part of our reliable welds guarantee, if a Simmons blade breaks at the weld, just send it back to us. We’ll evaluate the issue and reweld the blade if possible.
