Simmons Volunteers at Feed My Starving Children

On Saturday, March 22^nd, Simmons’ employees and their families decided to spend their day volunteering at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, IL. This marked the fourth time that Simmons has worked alongside the amazing team at Feed My Starving Children. This time around, our employees helped pack 28,080 meals, which is estimated to feed 76 kids for an entire year.

“I’m extremely proud of all the Simmons team members who came out here to spend their Saturdays volunteering,” said Simmons’ Director of Human Resources Michele Kuper. “It feels great to give back to our community in this way, and we hope to continue supporting such a wonderful cause even further in the years to come.”

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization whose mission is to feed hungry children in communities around the world. Their approach is to their mission is simple: donations help fund meal ingredients while volunteers like Simmons’ team members hand-pack the meals. The meals are then donated to FMSC partners around the world who distribute them to children in need.
