As one of Simmons’ premier slicing blades, the Wavy blade provides a nearly dust-free cut through low-density foams. It is also very effective at penetrating material, making it suitable for cutting some medium-density foams.
That same penetrating ability makes the Wavy blade ideal for cutting fabric and other fibrous materials. This is mostly due to the blade’s razor-sharp crests, which can slice through material without pulling at the individual fibers like a toothed blade might.

As part of our Wavy Edge blade production process, Simmons offers an additional option to harden the cutting edge of the blade in order to extend overall blade life.
Pitch is the distance from point to point. Our standard Wavy Edge blades are double beveled with a ¾” pitch. However, a ½” pitch is also available upon request.
